Easily fixed with a little bit of filing on the sides of the slot. Worked perfectly after that. Good thing too, it's a bit beefier than the original part. Should last much longer. Fits perfectly and feels better than the original when it was still brand new. It seemed a bit pricey to me, but in the end I'm happy with the value and would buy it again. Happy with the black as it blends right in and looks like it might have been intended. The rubber material is grippy but soft enough and feels good. I have used my G13 for the last decade and it's better than ever.
