Cosmetic condition good. Pencil works with new lead. Sadly, the nib on the fountain pen was sprung and needed repair. Too many people wrongly think that a W5 nib is a flex nib and spring it by applying too much pressure. A sprung W5 nib is difficult to replace. Works OK now after a lot of work.

I am not an expert on Fountain Pens and I am sorry, but I have never come across a sprung nib before. If you had taken the time to send me a photo, showing the nib had an issue, but still wanted to keep the pen, I would have come to a compromise with you, and refunded some of your money. If you had decided you wanted to return the pen. I would have paid the return postage and gladly refunded all of your money.
