So you could have messaged. Frist thanks for the positive. The cord is leather it has a black polish coating. If you look at the cut end where the ties are you will see the brown leather. The outer is polish color black to give shine. 2nd the necklace bead is shown with a ruler in the images so not sure how you didn't see the size unless you didn't read or look. Anyway Just sayin' .
