Synopsis
The Mader/Windelspecht Story: "Biology" is a comprehensive introductory biology textbook for non-majors or mixed-majors courses that covers biology in a traditional order from the structure and function of the cell to the organization of the biosphere. The book, which centers on the evolution and diversity of organisms, is appropriate for a one- or two-semester course. The eleventh edition is the epitome of Mader's expertise: Its concise, precise writing uses an economy of words to present the material as succinctly and clearly as possible, thereby enabling students -- even non-majors -- to understand the concepts without necessarily asking the instructor to explain further. Sylvia Mader represents one of the icons of science education. Her dedication to her students, coupled with her clear, concise writing style has benefited the education of thousands of students over the past three decades.Dr. Michael s Windelspecht: The integration of text and the digital world are now complete with the addition of Michael s Windelspecht s expertise in the development of digital learning assets. For over ten years, Michael served as the Introductory Biology Coordinator at Appalachian State University, in Boone NC where he directed a program that enrolls over 4,500 non-science majors annually. Michael has acted as the leading architect in the design of the Mader media content for McGraw-Hill's Connect and LearnSmart. These assets allow instructors to easily design interactive tutorial materials, enhance presentations in both the online and traditional environments, and assess the learning objectives and outcomes of your course. Users who purchase Connect receive access to the full online eBook version of the textbook.", The Mader/Windelspecht Story: Biology is a comprehensive introductory biology textbook for non-majors or mixed-majors courses that covers biology in a traditional order from the structure and function of the cell to the organization of the biosphere. The item arrived quickly and securely packaged but it had an odd odor—somewhat musty, maybe it had been in storage for a long time? —but it was strong enuf that I knew I wouldn’t use it. I requested to return it (which I intend to do as soon and I can get to the post office) and a refund was granted. This seems to be a good, honest vendor; communication was good. I believe she wasn’t aware of any odor when she mailed it to me.

You should have received your refund. I do not want you to waste postage mailing it back and I requested that you just trash it please. I am not willing to pay postage to get it back either. Just not worth it with high postage. Thank you.

Shipping was fast. Seller carefully wrapped glass bottle in bubble wrap and other material. Box had fragile tape handle with care. Deeply appreciate this. Description is accurate and picture. Beautiful pink color with flower design. This bottle is going into my garden room with plants. Seller had put a thank you sticker. Also sticker on box said hope this gift will brighten your day. Charming. It sure did. Plan to use this seller again. Seller truly cares about customers. Goes way and beyond.

Great seller! The Snap and Style doll is beautiful, just as described—and arrived quickly in great packaging. It was a great price too! The shorts didn’t snap on properly, but the seller was very kind and offered a partial refund. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase.
