item bought for Samsung Galaxy A53 5G. Does not fit well. You have to squeeze the phone in, and hard to get it out again. And when it is in, the lid does not close. Compared to my old pouch, I can not recommend, at least my phone and I are not happy with it.

There are two possible reasons for your problem:
1. You have some additional case cover on your phone, so take it off, the offer description heading says: "Manufactured and prepared to use with PHONE ONLY - without any additional case cover."
2. You are too impatient. This is natural cowhide. A53 has a frame housing, the sides are straight-walled, which makes it difficult to insert the phone at first. After a day or two of using the leather holster, you will forget about the problem.
