I was quite surprised by this rod - it is a moderate-fast action that is actually really nice to cast with up to 60’ with an MPX line. It flexes deeply so one needs to be careful on loading, but when this is done it casts well and surprisingly accurately. The cork is good, reel locking is low quality, guides are basic, and the resin finish and guide wrapping is high quality.
