- r***b (47)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseThis kit gave new life to an old laptop. Included are two memory sticks and the price is very affordable. I'm preparing an older Compaq laptop for boys to play games on. It had 2 GB of RAM. I used Ubuntu Linux in a flash drive to check maximum RAM capability using the command dmidecode. It stated 8GB capability. I ordered the kit, installed them and BAM; it made the ol machine faster. Next item will be a Solid State Drive. Thanks, A-Tech; I won't be throwing the laptop out.
