This horse fence dipole is DEAF! I already have a homebrewed 10-20-40M copper braid dipole in place, at aprox 25-30' off the ground, and placed the K5WZ' under similar conditions. My fan dipole's reception is 2-3 S units better than the horse fence dipole. I tested it w/an IC-7300 & an FT-891 with similar results. I don't mention transmission, as I know now that 30 odd feet of coax are also needed. Nowhere on eBay was any mention of this BEFORE the purchase, but came on a printed sheet inside!😭

This listing clearly states the following operating requirements for this particular antenna.
"Coax (not included) with a minimum length of 55 ft is required."
It appears you never tried to set it up accordingly.
