- *****- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseWorks well for a frankensteined old articulating desk lamp. Bypassing (chopping and splicing in a typical 2 prong plug) the failed ballast plug and grinding down a bit of plastic made room for this to fit in the older lamp. Lots of people return the fluorescent bulbs because of the ballast being the problem. This bulb doesn't need the ballast and functions great with just 120VAC. Good product. Works well.
