Sorry for the late feedback but I just installed this deck belt on my 2011 Craftsman DT2000 42” and it is a perfect fit. I have bought the ones from Home Depot and Lowes and they are the 42” John Deer Brand and the belts are always too long. Then they break within a few mows. Just mowed my 2 1/2 acres and checked the belt when I was done and it looks good. I would almost say this belt exceeds the standards of most of the ones I have seen in the store. Get this one and you won’t be disappointed.
