They also worked, without modification in my HF VOM that uses test leads with banana type plugs that stick out beyond the plastic sheath. These are much better than many of today's original test leads that are made with copper coated steel wire

It would also stop you from blaming others when it was your failure to read. Here is what you could have read had you taken a bit of time to educate yourself "insulators are approximately 1-1/4 inches in length with the width about 13/16 inch. Approximately 3/16 inch hole for antenna wire"
