However, when I went to remove the original accumulator pushing the cover of it up to get clearance to remove the snap ring was requiring so much force that I backed off. I didn't want to potentially damage the bore. So I didn't install the part. I just settled for a new shift solenoid and clutch torque converter solenoid, tranny fluid andfilter changed and called it good. Maybe I'll give it a go again later if necessary and I can think of a careful way.
