"Remove plastic cowl from rack. 2) Place backrest where cowl was removed. 3) Using supplied bolts install backrest assembly". When I followed those instructions, the black metal base-plate wasn't long enough to span the gap and left an ugly unfinished area of the cycle exposed. I reinstalled the plastic and mounted the plate on top. The finish quality of the leather wasn't symmetrical and bulged on one side. But Good for the money
