Thousands of years before, two extra extraterrestrial life forms discovered life on earth, and a war ensued. As they battle for world domination, so too do corporations on earth. Gameplay follows the former bounty hunter on behalf of Carrington, Joanna Dark. She aims to stop the truly dark side, dataDyn and the Skedar, from winning. The game's campaign mode follows her through this mission.In this original first-person shooter game, the player crouches, ducks, leans, and drops from ledges as Dark. The character uses a wide range of weapons to take on her enemies. To make it more realistic, the damage taken during combat is location based. One of the prominent features of Perfect Dark is the advanced weaponry and a range of gadgets available. With over 40 weapons to choose from and customize, building your artillery collection in Perfect Dark is an adventure. Special cheats make this an even more exciting challenge.For a player more interested in social gaming, Perfect Dark also features three multiplayer systems. The multiple systems include co-operative, counter operative, and the combat simulator mode. The screen splits both horizontally and vertically when there is more than one player. Computer controlled players and simulators can also be used with each pre-programmed and assigned preset behaviors. An Expansion Pak accessory is required for the full multiplayer options.This classic game was developed by Rare, and the game was released by Nintendo in 2000. This original version is compatible with the PAL/EU/Scandinavian Nintendo 64 consoles. As a complete set, the games come with a game manual, cartridge and manual bags, a box protector, and cartridge pins. All you need to play it is an N64, a memory card, and Gamepad or Joystick. Just plug it in and play.
