The scanning optical resolution of 2400 x 4800 dpi in this desktop scanner gives you high quality scanning. This flatbed scanner comes with USB 2.0 interface which lets you connect and transfer data at a faster rate. Preloaded with Apple MacOS 8 and Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition operating systems, the desktop scanner can be used with either. The 48-bit color depth of this flatbed scanner scans images with brilliant colors. The 16-bit gray levels ensure that Perfection 4490 PHOTO scanner produces maximum number of gray shades.

The seller communicated very well before the sale, and lowered the overpriced shipping to make the sale. He didn't respond to my after-sale communication, but didn't really need to, and he has a LOT of eBay sales going, so I let that slide since he's probably very busy. Overall, positive and would deal with again.
