Gamers go on a Rogue-like RPG adventure full of turn-based battles, slapstick comedy, and delicious food in Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God. Players take control of Pupuru, a young woman whose decision to befriend a ravenous creature named Kuu inadvertently results in her suspension from the Magic Academy. With scholastic pursuits no longer an option, Pupuru begins helping her favorite local curry restaurant fend off the big new curry chain in town, a development that eventually sends her and Kuu into dungeons in search of the Legendary Magic Curry.<br><br>Gamers level up by earning experience points as they defeat foes in turn-based battles, but once they leave a dungeon, their level returns to one. Upgrading equipment is the key to advancement, but if Pupuru is beaten in combat all of her money and equipment will be gone forever. Players can avoid that fate by eating curry to heal, but they must have meat, grains, and spices to concoct a helpful dish. Kuu is a constant companion on the journey, and while it can't really be controlled, it can be somewhat contained and helpful if players ensure that it is constantly fed. Important items are strewn throughout the dungeons, and finding these objects gives gamers more information about pivotal characters.<br><br>This Limited Edition puts its money where its mouth is by offering the full game as well as a Kuu-shaped curry plate, a yellow "Kuu-ry" spoon, and a bib featuring many of the game's characters.
