Elroy & The Diehards was formed in 2004 to write, record, and share music in honor of The World's Greatest Football Team: The Green Bay Packers. The first hit single 'We Love Brett Favre' received critical acclaim and became an instant Packer classic. Tom 'Elroy' Sumner became inspired once again and decided to set the wheels in motion for a brand new full-length CD. Teaming up with J.R. Hanson in early July, 2012, the new partners cranked out 8 new original Packer songs along with two unique parodies in a variety of musical styles including Rock, Country, Blues, Bluegrass, and Reggae. After many challenging studio sessions, the band completed 'PACKER PARTY', a festive collection of music for any occasion. Tom's vocals are catchy, melodic, and can exude a warm and welcoming energy reminiscent of a favorite uncle at a fireside gathering. But don't be fooled, he also attacks the edgier tracks with ferocity and punch--a true rock and roll veteran. J.R.'s instrumental mosaics bring the thump, the funk, and the modern twang as well as the laid-back mellow grooves of island and reggae.
