Notes
Romulus Rex is a postmodern-rock quartet originally from Mount Desert Island, Maine. The group was formed in the spring of 2005, when all four members attended high school together. Since then they have released two albums, The Forest and their newest, Frequent Seas, as well as several unreleased live and studio recordings. Romulus Rex is comprised of four strapping lads, Wells Bacon, Chris Doyle, David Palazola, and Fox Schwach. Frequent Seas is the significantly mature follow-up to Romulus Rex's critically acclaimed debut album, The Forest. Frequent Seas is an original, twelve song, postmodern rock masterpiece- whose unique sound features extraordinary songwriting, beautiful melodies, and a brilliant mix of synthesized and acoustic sound. 'We were all born at the same time by the same mother at the bottom of the sea. When we emerged from the water everybody rejoiced and listened to our celebrity music. Rock and Roll. Rock and Roll. Rock and Roll. We want you to listen to our music and be happy.' -Romulus Rex.
