The deck must have been sitting on a shelf for a while because it took pressing the track change button several times to get the head to slide up and down smoothly between tracks. Recordings drag as it seems recording requires most power than what is provided (but my knowledge of electronics is limited). In the end, it is what it is: vintage 8 track electronics. Every purchase is a gamble.

The only thing that I can give to improve, is that it came covered with a lot of pet hairs which was weird. Nothing laundry wouldn't take care of but still a bit awkward. Despite this, everything was pretty much really :)
