The lobes ... “This camshaft was removed from an S50B30 US spec engine, and is in excellent condition. The lobes and journals, the bearing ledges/cam trays and caps, are all in great shape. There is a nic on the bearing ledge/tray, on the edge of where it mates to the cylinder head, marked yellow in picture #18 (sorry the picture is no good, let me know if you need a better picture!). I measured the lift as ~9.7mm with my caliper, to confirm that this is a US 94-95 M3 exhaust cam. During my inspection of the donor engine, I found the intake cam used was not an M3 camshaft, and there was other evidence of parts being mixed and matched, so it is possible this is an S52 exhaust camshaft, based on the lift measurement. Please read the full description below for more information!”
