Very nice sign, it was good finding a quality sign of the D-Day Doll, she is a C-53D Skytrooper rather than a C-47 Skytrain. June 6, 1944, The Normandy Invasion she towed in 2 gliders carrying members of the 101st airborne during the invasion of fortress Europe. She served through WWII and was involved in the Berlin Airlift in 1949. She still flies at airshows, and tours out of her home base in Riverside, CA . Sign was accurately described and quickly shipped; Thank you.
