    I got this for a 1986 Catalina 22sailboat they need a low profile pump for the bilge. , installed a manual/off/ auto switch with a 5 amp fuse to battery. The pump will work on manual, when the water is at aprox 3 inches deep and it pumps out but leaves about 1 inch of water in bilge. on auto, i filled the bilge till it was over the pump and it never comes on... buy a whale or rule, this wont save the boat if there is a leak...
