Christmas just got interesting as an ex-convict who is a con man, a thief, foul-mouthed, and has a drinking habit takes the role of Santa. Every Christmas season, Willie T. Stokes (Billy Bob Thornton) gets a job as Santa and on Christmas Eve, robs the stores blind. This time, Stokes gets a job at a shopping mall and with the help of his mastermind friend Marcus, they plan a robbery. However, plans will not be smooth for Stokes as the mall manager has a bad feeling about him, and therefore, asks Gin, the mall's chief of security, to do a background check on him.
