I had previously brought a usb wifi adapter with this chipset in. rtl8188etv. However neither my linux mint pc or antix linux pc seems to get on with it. My wifi speed has now increased from 5MByte/s to 25 MBytes/s. Which is what I would expect on my house wifi. So very pleased. Just plugged it in and it went.
