Only two things needed to make these better templates...first is that the tuner per holes are too small. These are Gibson headstock templates and so the tuner holes should be 10mm (3/8"). They are only about 1/4". Second is a common problem with templates...the thickness of the plastic is 1/4" when it really needs to be thicker for use with a router template bit to give the bearing enough edge to follow.
