You could tell by how dirty the inside of the pot was that it had alot of use. I perked water and it did perk, but I do not know how much life it has left! It was not as discribed. Pot very dirty from a lot of use. The handle was very loose and I had to get that fixed. I perked water in it and it did perk , but I do not think it has a lot of life left!!!! 1
