- a***i (171)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseThis is still the best modern take on the Avengers in comics. This is Vol.2, though. Both volumes are needed for the full story. It's a cynical and sometimes mean spirited Avengers tale, but as well written as comics get. It's the introduction of so many concepts that ended up structuring the MCU. Reading it truly feels like watching a movie. Then, The Ultimates 2 is even better! Do yourself a favor, though, skip Ultimates 3 & Ultimatum, unless you truly have to see how bad comics can get.
