Could have used any old grease really; 10W40, paraffin and beeswax with a pinch of PTFE, good old forehead grease. But I figured the old girl hit forty this year, lets splurge and get her a pot of the good stuff. I removed the key with my teeth as is customary, painted it on the wee metal bar with the VERY HELPFULLY INCLUDED PAINTBRUSH!! Et voila: Squeak-be-gone. I'm sure it also works great on other switches.
