The reason for a neutral review is that the remote still had a set of batteries in it, and they had leaked. There was corrosion all over the battery terminals. I had to clean them with alcohol and then install new batteries before the remote would function properly. It's not a huge deal, but I would have expected the seller to inspect all this before dropping this thing in the box and mailing it.
