    It would be a good idea to warn series 3 owners that the thread on the cylinder's hydraulic pipe is metric and will not work with the series pipe, which is UNF, (unless previously modified). I made up a new pipe with appropriate metric union on the slave cylinder end. A lot of unexpected extra work and expense. All now fitted and working but be ready for this possible problem.
