I reached out, and the seller offered for me to pay for shipping to return (half the total price of the shoes) to maybe get a refund. I didn’t think it made sense to pay extra to return damaged shoes that probably wouldn’t qualify for a refund, and then the seller got kind of hostile and then ghosted me
