I notified the seller, asking him to replace it or give me a refund for that part of the order, and he told me I could return the defective one, after which he would send me a replacement. I said that would cost me nearly as much as it would to buy another one, so I said I guess I'll just take the loss. Yes you need to send back a item to have a refund or a replacement. Yes this is over a .99 cent item. Which is brand new and fully tested. It is hard to believe someone would attack someone over a .99 cent item in the fashion you have.
