I've purchased on eBay for years and broken items typically state it in the title - FOR PARTS or NOT WORKING, etc - but this ad did not; only in a greyed out description on the search page (eBay - please make it POP more!). It was priced to parity of other working units, hence didn't note it was not functioning. After an insult or two, the seller agreed to take it back and refund it. Lesson learned to always read the fine print!
