As a re-manufactured product, the cost savings compared to new was considerable. Also considering the terrible track record Ford has had with these solenoids, I feel fine with spending ~$100 on a reman vs the $400+ on a Ford oem product that may not last any longer. Hopefully this one will outlast the previous new one I got from the parts store.
