It’s advertised as having 8sets of clamps but it comes with only 6. Which means you use only 3 for each side. If your truck is not new and souped up and is a work truck that you use every day and takes a good beating from the stuff you throw across the sides, you need more clamps. Secondly you may need some more stripping on the tailgate side that is L shaped
- 4***r (299)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseFits 2013 Ford f150 STX 4x4 5.0 works on 6.25 size bed won't work for 5.25 .if your truck has bars rails on the back you have to take them off for this to fit right so do not cut your rails just take off your bars common sense you won't take your bar off so not buy
- o***z (3781)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseWhile the item itself was of the quality expected, a couple of issues: 1) Despite how it was listed (as a "custom fit"), by the manufacturer's own admission (as printed in the install manual) this is more of a "universal" fitment for wide range of model years; 2) while the instructions are (mostly) written in English, they're VERY poorly written, rendering them more or less useless, however, with a bit of trial 'n' error, the install was more or less intuitive [Think IKEA here]
