The original on my 200yr+ clock has a worn thread between the pendulum and the nut securing the bob, so limiting adjustment. This replacement turned out to be approx 1.5 -2cm shorter than my original . No harm done, turned out the wear on my original was shared between the spindle and the brass nut. Replacing nut alone suited my needs. Maybe supplying a slightly longer threaded section would make this even more versatile?
