    I opened up the SDR to find a DVB board attached top another board, inside. The RX is weak and the audio output barely hearable. Used SDR++ software. This does have the R829T and RTL 8232 chips inside. The antenna is worthless-I couldn't pick up a NOAA weather broadcast that's under 30 miles away. Hooked another antenna and showed I was receiving the broadcast but couldn't hear it. The overall package looks nice but spend your money on a "real" SDR. The shipping was very quick!
