Driver side was a little different from passenger side but I still managed to line things up. If you can follow instructions and use wrenches, sockets and multi task you can install by yourself. Rails are not chrome they are light weight and a plastic imitation chrome. Look great but was a little disappointed with plastic. Hope they hold up
