      The description says "chrome", but it's plastic so I'm not happy about that. I guess you can't trust the initial description, you have to read the fine print to get to the truth. Fast shopping though.

      First, it's not in the "fine print". It is described in the very first line of the description box. Second, it is chrome. Both metal and high impact ABS can be chromed. Chrome is a plating not a solid. Many parts of your car and home plumbing fixtures are made this way. Put next to each other and you can't tell which is which. And metal rusts plastic doesn't. Once on your car you won't know the difference and will ultimately be very happy. Like 10's of thousands of our other customers have been.
