But does not state that bronze is casted in 1” increments so when you try to heat it and use it in those 1” spots it cracks and falls apart. Can not use this to heat and make somthing out of. Due to its composition and casting process, 954 aluminum bronze is not designed for blacksmithing, forging, or hot working. It is intended for machining into finished parts, as hot working can cause cracking along the casting structure. This is a property of the alloy itself, not a defect in the material.
