Basketball fans can hit the hardwood with upgraded graphics, real-time physics, more responsive controls, and smarter AI in EA Sports' NBA Live 15. The developers used specific body types and new scanning techniques to produce the most lifelike players in franchise history, while more than 100 new animations and three times as many dunks, layups, and signature shots were added to make stars stand out from the pack. Gamers can take on a number of offline and online modes, and in the Learn Live mode Damian Lillard offers tips, tutorials, and drills to help players hone their skills.<br><br>The bounceTek dribbling system has been enhanced to offer greater cuts and shifts in momentum, freestyle passing lets gamers pull off no-look and behind-the-back passes, and a new shot feedback system measures three aspects of shot quality in real time. Defensive options have been increased as well, with left-stick control and a new shot blocking system making it easier to contain opposing scorers. Game modes include Live Season, in which players are tasked with replicating the real-life feats of NBA stars, The Jordan Rising Star mode, where gamers create a player and try to guide him to superstar status, and the card-collecting Live Ultimate Team mode.
