Gamers try to end a civil war between the Noble Alliance and the Imperial Army in Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II. Players take control of the katana-wielding Rean Schwarzer as he and his metallic humanoid companion Valimar travel across Erebonia finding and forming bonds with allies from Thors Military Academy's Class VII, engaging in turn-based combat, and taking on leisure activities like cooking, fishing, and snowboarding. At a certain point during the story players will acquire the airship <i>Courageous</i> which will serve as a home base and allow for faster travel.<br><br>Trails of Cold Steel II features a field map for gamers to explore, with combat taking place in a separate local map. Surprise attacks can potentially give players special advantages in battle, and the Link System means Rean can unlock a variety of combat benefits if he forms strong bonds with party members. Gamers can also take control of Valimar to fight powerful enemies, ride horses and motorcycles, or use their data from the first Trails of Cold Steel to earn bonus stats and extra items.

    If I could give this seller more than 5 stars, I would! I first asked if they were open to offers and they respectfully declined. I reached again out a few days later to ask if they could drop the price by just 51 cents to under $100, and they agreed! They also sent pictures of the packaging, messaged me when it was shipped, and even included a personal thank-you note and some stickers! The book was also in better condition than described. I would say it's Very Good, not just Good.
