Product Information
You inhabit a world, Septerra, composed of seven separate continents, or "shells" which rotate one above the other. Each shell is distinct, with unique forms of life, due to the climate adjustment by an immense bio-computer who lives in the core of the shells.<br><br>On the outermost shell, a barren wasteland, live a race called The Chosen. The Chosen believe themselves direct decendants of Marduk, the son of the creator, and believe they are more highly evolved than denziens of the lower shells, and dump their waste below. In fact, The Chosen are much more advanced, bio-engineering animals from the lower shells to serve as weapons and vehicles.<br><br>The Chosen have collected artifacts and clues which lead them to believe that the secret to the creation of Septerra lies in the Core. The Chosen travel to the lower shells to reach the Core, firmly believing it is their right to unlock the legacy within.<br><br>You play Maya, a junk scavenger from World Shell 2, directly below The Chosen. You make a living salvaging useful material from the waste The Chosen rain down upon your world. As The Chosen begin their descent, many nations below, and your own, fight to halt their progress and protect the shells.<br><br>Maya soon learns of Septerra's true nature, and ventures out to come face to face with the Legacy herself. Travel to the Core and unlock its secret for yourself. Halt the progress of The Chosen and their hideous bio-creatures. The future of all Septerra may depend on it.<br><br>Septerra Core: Legacy of the Creator contains hundreds of locations for players to explore, a highly developed storyline which spans fifteen chapters of gameplay, and a recognizable interface which strives to keep menus as simple as possible. <br><br>Players may choose from eight companions, each with a unique story and skills. Combat is clock-based, which keeps gameplay running smoothly and fast-paced.
