The SureShot is missing the battery compartment cover and therefore I can't test it just yet. The PowerShot on the other hand has badly corroded batteries in the compartment and I am currently working to clean it up. I'm hopeful of bringing it back to life. For the price I thought I'd take a chance on them. They were packaged securely and shipped promptly.

However, I don't see that. The haze can be seen but I would say it is not going to be a problem. Otherwise the lens is in very good, clean condition.
