Synopsis
Genetic improvement has played a vital role in enhancing the yield potential of vegetable crops. There are numerous vegetable crops grown worldwide and variable degrees of research on genetics, breeding and biotechnology have been conducted on these crops. This book brings together the results of such research on crops grouped as alliums, crucifers, cucurbits, leaf crops, tropical underground and miscellaneous. Written by eminent specialists, each chapter concentrates on one crop and covers cytology, genetics, breeding objectives, germplasm resources, reproductive biology, selection breeding methods, heterosis and hybrid seed production, quality and processing attributes and technology. This unique collection will be of great value to students, scientists and vegetable breeders as it provides a reference guide on genetics, breeding and biotechnology of a wide range of vegetable crops.

- 2***l (46)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseHBH Mercantile provided a smooth transaction. TH Sizzix die cutters (#662698) arrived as described; I do not think set is new though, because inner cellophane wrapping that comes with dies is missing, which means it is likely used. No dies are missing and made a complete set, so all is well. Shipment was a quick 3 days (in bubble wrap), because we are in the same state. Still, the dies are retired and I was OK to pay the pretty penny for them. I would purchase from this seller again! Cheers.
- a***d (56)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseI have been really into making Christmas ornaments this year and saw this mold. The seller offered it at a great price and shipped it quickly. I am very happy with the quality of the mold and would purchase from seller again. I am using the mold to pour resin, but it can be used for other mediums also. The mold is exactly as described and pictured on the seller's site. The seller wrapped in securely and boxed it so it arrived in great condition.
