There was one connector that had a a 10 pin hole array while the original part only had 3 holes but the 3 pins on the car connector side fit without problem in the clock spring side and it seems to have normal functionality. My original clock spring was a 84306-52040. So far so good and well within average home mechanic to do the replacement.
