Gives a more robust fabric for outdoor clothes, increases thickness but not weight. Twill goes outside & stands up, gives a shimmer effect; the reverse is smooth, vertical & diagonal weaves at same level. Good price, & a change from my usual orders: in cotton canvas. Using it on a jacket; can also use for general storage pouches (these usually come in 'stock black polyester' so different colours would help).
