The item appeared to have some scratches on it as though it was used and returned. The anti-theft steering wheel column looked real good on my column used the spacer to hide the gaps . It's nothing like the Original Anti-theft steering column Lock of the 70's-80's . It was made fully steel equipped covering the entire column with no room to allow any to easy get to the ignition switch. This cover only comes down 3/4 but has so much play you can raise it up and almost expose the ignition
