This motor fixed the tailgate lock actuator on my 2001 Land Rover D2. It replaced the smaller gear motor for normal locking and unlocking. Exactly as described and shown in pictures. Takes a bit of time to ship at around 2 weeks, but well worth the wait. Comes in a static free Mylar bag. Just make sure you get the correct motor and these guys have great replacements.

I got the wrong part, and think it has more to do with EBay, as it said it fit my vehicle. The cost to ship it back for a refund was about what I paid for the part, so I’ll re- sell it myself. The seller was great with communication and help. Just be sure before you buy that it’s the right part as shipping back on returns may be more that it’s worth.
