I am absolutely amazed. This guitar exceeded all of my expectations. The setup out of the box, while a little sharp at the 24th fret, is stellar. No dead frets.
I have an Ibanez xiphos tuned to A# standard. It has this twang about it that comes from the neck through design. I’m glad to report this has that same twang.
This is quite a heavy guitar. It’s heavier than my basses. But still well balanced
The pickups are gonna be swapped out for dimarzio d-activators

I was very happily surprised with the quality of this guitar and its playability from the factory. There are no issues with fret edges, fret levels, neck straightness, and even intonation. The color is more orange than yellow but the grain pops nicely and the veneer has a book-matched appearance. The weight is about the same as a full-hollowbody I own, it doesn’t get much lighter than this. Brand name guitars straight from the factory often require much more work just to be playable.
